Capital Bank Awards the Winners in the Employees Annual Chess Competition
Capital Bank celebrated its employees who secured the top three spots in the yearly chess tournament organized by the bank at the Royal Jordanian Chess Federation headquarters, which has been held since 2019. According to Nasreen Kanaan, the International Judge overseeing the event, Tawfiq Shoubash clinched first place, followed by Ahmed Al-Khairy in second, and Ayman Salah in third.
Thirteen employees participated in the tournament. It consisted of seven rounds which followed the Swiss system, allowing each player 30 minutes per round.
This competition is part of the bank's strategy aimed at supporting sports and leisure activities to foster healthy competition and teamwork beyond the regular work setting. It serves the bank's greater goal. These events showcase Capital Bank's dedication to providing a positive and supportive workplace, encouraging employees to engage in various cultural and social activities.
