Capital Bank Golden Sponsor of GREENFIN 2025

Capital Bank announced its golden sponsorship of the third edition of the Green Finance Forum (GREENFIN) 2025, organized by the Association of Banks in Jordan. The event was held under the patronage of the Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan, Dr. Adel Sharkas.

The forum brought together senior banking executives, policymakers, international partners, experts, and speakers from around the world. Discussions focused on innovative financing mechanisms to address the challenges of climate change, accelerate the transition to a more inclusive and resilient green economy, and support banks in designing and implementing green financial products tailored to market needs. The sessions also highlighted the importance of aligning with international standards and national sustainability priorities to strengthen the banking sector’s role in advancing green economic development.

Capital Bank emphasized that its sponsorship of the forum reflects its corporate strategy, which places sustainability at the heart of its operations. The bank underscored the importance of balancing economic growth with environmental stewardship and community engagement. It has adopted a comprehensive approach that integrates environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles into its daily operations, while actively contributing to national and international initiatives that promote a more sustainable economy.

Capital Bank further highlighted that sustainability is not a temporary initiative, but a core pillar for building a more resilient and responsible future for generations to come. This commitment is in line with the bank’s vision to be among the leading financial institutions championing sustainability in Jordan and the wider region, by adopting responsible banking practices that reduce environmental impact while driving long-term economic and social growth.
