As part of its corporate social responsibility strategy and its ongoing commitment to supporting humanitarian causes, Capital Bank has renewed its partnership with “Atfaluna” for the fourth consecutive year. Through this partnership, the bank will cover the medical treatment costs of 30 children in need of various forms of healthcare.
Launched to coincide with the holy month of Ramadan, the initiative highlights Capital Bank’s leading role in making a tangible, positive impact on the lives of underprivileged communities. It also reflects the bank’s dedication to raising public awareness about the importance of ensuring equitable access to medical treatment for children in need, while promoting the values of solidarity and giving across society.
Commenting on the partnership, Touleen Barto, Chief Marketing and Corporate Communications Officer at Capital Bank, said, “We are proud to continue our partnership with Atfaluna for the fourth year in a row. This collaboration reflects our strong belief in our responsibility toward the community. Through this initiative, we seek to bring smiles to children’s faces and ease the burden on their families, reaffirming our long-standing commitment to supporting initiatives that deliver meaningful and sustainable impact.”
In turn, the team at Atfaluna expressed their appreciation for Capital Bank’s continued support. Safa Jarrar stated, “The ongoing support provided by Capital Bank is a cornerstone to continue delivering medical care to children in need. It enables us to carry out our humanitarian mission of alleviating children’s suffering and supporting their recovery. This partnership also highlights the importance of sustainable institutional collaborations in creating a real and lasting positive impact on the lives of children and the families we serve.”
Founded in 2015 by a group of volunteers from diverse professional backgrounds, Atfaluna is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing medical care for children in need. Thanks to the generous support of donors and the tireless efforts of an expanding network of volunteers, the Foundation has helped thousands of children access advanced, high-quality healthcare, while also striving to ensure they can live with hope, dignity, and equal opportunity.
