Capital Bank Employees Volunteer to Refurbish Ain Al-Basha Girls’ School in Partnership with “Sports for Charity”
A team of Capital Bank employees, in partnership with the “Sports for Charity” initiative, took part in a volunteer activity to refurbish Ain Al-Basha Girls’ School, helping create a more welcoming and inspiring learning environment for students ahead of the new academic year.
As part of the initiative, employees worked in volunteer teams to paint several areas of the school and improve its overall appearance. The activity brought together teamwork, volunteerism, and community service, while helping prepare the school to welcome students at the start of the academic year.
Touleen Barto, EVP - Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Capital Bank, said, “Supporting education and investing in local communities are key pillars of Capital Bank’s corporate social responsibility efforts. These initiatives become even more meaningful when our employees are directly involved in bringing them to life. Hands-on participation turns volunteerism into tangible impact and strengthens a culture of giving and teamwork, both within the bank and across the wider community.”
Barto added, “This initiative is particularly meaningful because it directly supports students and their learning environment. It also reflects Capital Bank’s belief that lasting community impact is strengthened through active participation and hands-on engagement, alongside the bank’s continued support for community initiatives”.
The initiative reflects Capital Bank’s commitment to encouraging employee participation in volunteer and community activities, giving employees the opportunity to contribute directly to initiatives supported by the bank while fostering a stronger culture of volunteerism, teamwork, and service to local communities.
