Capital Bank and Magma Host Employee Wellness Event to Promote Health and Teamwork
As part of its ongoing focus on employee well-being, Capital Bank partnered with Magma Lifestyle and Fitness Center to host a health and fitness day for its employees. The event was designed to encourage healthier lifestyles, support a better work-life balance, and create a positive and supportive work environment that goes beyond the workplace itself.
Held at Magma Lifestyle and Fitness Center, the event brought together bank employees for a range of activities tailored to different fitness levels. The program included workouts and functional training stations led by professional trainers, as well as team competitions and sessions focused on fitness and flexibility. The activities gave employees the opportunity to stay active while enjoying a shared experience centered on teamwork.
Commenting on the initiative, Touleen Barto, EVP - Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Capital Bank, said the event reflects the bank’s commitment to supporting employee well-being and creating a healthier, more balanced work environment. She added that supporting both physical and mental health can improve focus, energy, creativity, and teamwork, while also helping employees perform at their best.
Barto also said that Capital Bank tries to create opportunities for employees to come together outside the usual work setting, helping strengthen relationships and build a culture of teamwork, participation, and collaboration. She added that the bank sees its people as central to its success.
The initiative is part of Capital Bank’s broader approach to making employee health and well-being a central part of its workplace culture. It reflects the bank’s belief that investing in its people is essential to building more engaged and creative teams that can deliver sustainable performance and support the bank’s continued progress and future aspirations.
