Capital Bank Partners Exclusively with the Social Security Corporation to Launch Daman Pay for Electronic Payments

The novel service establishes new electronic payment channels and is offered free of charge

The Social Security Corporation (SSC) signed a cooperation agreement with Capital Bank to provide its customers with the Daman Pay service, which was developed by the SSC in cooperation with commercial banks as a way of allowing both businesses and individuals to pay their social security dues electronically without any additional fees or commissions. The signing ceremony, which took place between SSC Director General Dr. Hazim Rahahleh and Capital Bank CEO Dawod Al Ghoul, was also attended by executive team members from both organizations.

Through the new service, Capital Bank's individual and corporate clients can now pay their social security dues either through the bank’s e-platforms or through its nationwide network of branches without having to pay any commissions.

Speaking at the signing, SSC Director General Dr. Hazim Rahahleh commended the efforts of Capital Bank to launch the Daman Pay service for its individual and corporate clients, allowing them to remit their social security dues easily, safely and without incurring any extra fees. Dr Rahahleh went on to add the SSC is always happy to partner with a distinguished and innovative institution such as Capital Bank, which has a wide client base that it serves with state-of-the-art services and solutions.

Also at the signing, Capital Bank CEO Dawod Al Ghoul said that the bank’s partnership with the SSC is yet another step on its path to providing its clients with the most cutting-edge solutions as a means of keeping them abreast of the latest developments in the global banking market. This latest partnership is also in line with Capital Bank’s strategic commitment to digital transformation, which it furthers through the provision of a number of electronic payment services and digital solutions. According to Al Ghoul, Daman Pay was launched as a way of streamlining procedures, saving time and effort, and ensuring the health and safety of the bank’s clients. Al Ghoul went on to thank the SSC, Dr. Rahahleh and the executive management team for the trust they placed in Capital Bank as the first banking partner to launch Daman Pay for its corporate and individual customers.
