Capital Bank Sponsors an Iftar for Tkiyet Um Ali
During the Iftar, Capital Bank employees participated in the distribution of meals provided by Tkiyet Um Ali to its beneficiaries from disadvantaged families. This sponsorship comes as part of Capital Bank’s strategic partnership with Tkiyet Um Ali, under which the bank will secure 10 needy families throughout the Kingdom with one food package per family every month.
Additionally, the bank partakes in many other voluntary activities during the year from the distribution of parcels to participation in Iftar banquets during the holy month of Ramadan. Capital Bank has continuously proved its proactive social responsibility approach through its relentless efforts to instill the spirit of social solidarity and contribute to local community development through its support and sponsorship of numerous charities and foundations aimed at empowering marginalized and disadvantaged segments in society.
This approach is epitomized by Tkiyet Um Ali, whose vision is to reach a hunger-free Jordan by providing healthy and sustainable food support programs. The event witnessed a very positive and vigorous response from Capital Bank employees, with a large group of employees volunteering to distribute Iftar meals to fasting people, demonstrating the initiative’s spirit of giving and generosity, which is of particular importance to the bank.
Tkiyet Um Ali is the first non-governmental organization to provide monthly and sustainable food support to 40,000 households living below the food poverty line in all governorates of the Kingdom, comprising 200,000 people, delivering food parcels to them monthly and throughout the year.
