Capital Bank Sponsors Inclusive Fashion Show “Spirit Wears Art” Celebrating Diversity and Social Inclusion
Capital Bank was a gold sponsor of “Spirit Wears Art,” an inclusive fashion show held on December 13th at the Landmark Hotel. The event, the first of its kind in Jordan and the region, celebrated creativity and individuality while promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities in the worlds of fashion and art.
The show featured 50 original designs created by 15 students from Picasso School of Arts, Fashion, and Design, and produced by students and staff from Orient Spirit Center. Each piece was inspired by the participants’ unique talents, energy, and personal stories, resulting in an immersive artistic experience that combined fashion, music, movement, and sound, showcasing the creativity of young talents and people with disabilities alike.
Touleen Barto, Chief Marketing and Corporate Communications Officer at Capital Bank, said that the Bank’s support for this event reflects its firm commitment to initiatives that foster diversity and social inclusion by providing equal opportunities for everyone to participate and express their creativity. She added that this sponsorship also highlights the Bank’s ongoing efforts to empower different segments of society and enhance their presence in creative and artistic fields.
Barto emphasized that this initiative aligns with the Bank’s mission to create a positive and sustainable social impact by supporting the arts, empowering youth, and enabling people with disabilities, helping to build a more inclusive, accepting, and innovative community.
Through this sponsorship, Capital Bank reaffirms its role in supporting inspiring cultural and artistic projects and in strengthening Jordan’s position as a regional hub for creativity and young talent.
