Capital Bank sponsors the Teacher Skills Forum 2019
Under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah in partnership with the International Baccalaureate Organization, the Forum is organized every year with the aim of providing teachers in the Arab world with modern teaching strategies and innovative methods. Due to its unique approach, which focuses on educational experience in all of its aspects with the goal of enhancing the quality of education, the Forum has enjoyed wide regional and global recognition.
Capital Bank Chief Executive Officer, Ala Qumsieh, commended Queen Rania's extensive efforts to train teachers to develop the educational sector and nurture and institutionalize the educational environment, one of the main reasons for Capital Bank's long-term strategic partnership with the Academy.
"We highly value the Queen Rania Teacher Academy's efforts to train teachers to support and promote the educational process in the Kingdom and to promote the competitiveness and advancement of education globally," said Qumsieh. "The Teacher Skills Forum meets the goals of the Bank and its Corporate Social Responsibility strategy to raise teachers’ efficiency - the cornerstone of the educational system - and further develop their teaching skills to a higher level.
The Forum, entitled “Flexible Minds for a Changing Age”, was attended by more than 1500 participants from within and outside the Kingdom to discuss the paths of comprehensive learner development, early childhood learning, digital literacy, Internet culture and critical thinking, education for learning, and educational leadership.
