Health Minister Honors Capital Bank for its Annual Participation in Blood Donation Initiatives
The ceremony, which was hosted by the Blood Bank Directorate at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, was held under the slogan "Blood Donation is a Gesture of Solidarity...Participate in the Effort and Save Lives."
Capital Bank is adamant on holding an annual blood drive for its employees, which is directly in line with its corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy of supporting organizations that share its vision and values, foremost of which is the Blood Bank Directorate.
Capital Bank Group Chief Marketing & Corporate Communication Officer Touleen Barto thanked the Ministry of Health’s Blood Bank Directorate for its continuous efforts to encourage blood donations for both its health benefits as well as its direct impact on saving lives.
She went on to thank the Blood Bank Directorate for the distinguished honor, adding that Capital Bank’s CSR strategy focuses on partnering with institutions that have a long-term positive impact on local communities. According to Barto, the bank regularly works to reinforce the values of solidarity in society and volunteerism among its employees.
